With the advent of digital, people forget that film is a powerful medium. One that, in the right hands, can be used to bend light in much more organic ways than by using digital 'trickery'. While digital is faster, easier to use, and much cheaper, I simply cannot achieve the results I want. Thus, I use film - exclusively.

While far more laborious and cumbersome, it's the method I prefer.

'Old-school' has its price. Following the shoot, the film goes to processing - I only use one lab, the same lab for the last 20 years. I wouldn't trust my negatives to anyone else. The negs come back and are reviewed. Finals are chosen and they go to the printer.

It's a laborious process but I cannot do what I do otherwise. Thank you for your patience. Peace.
